Sleepy Morning

The story behind painting is pretty boring. I was going to the local hardware store early spring morning and shot few photos for reference. I thought they are pretty… “meh”, but later when cleaning photo archive I found an interesting one. Landscape is common in my area, but submarine formed from clouds looks pretty cool, so I give it a chance.

The painting is a bit wider, so composition on image doesn’t look good, but it doesn’t fit on scanner, so it is what it is. I tried to merge two pieces in one, but somehow colors are different and second scan is always a bit blurry. Maybe because it doesn’t dry enough.
